2027 “Lawyer of the Year” Honorees

Two members of Burner Prudenti Law were named 2027 “Lawyer of the Year” on Long Island:

Nancy Burner was named “Lawyer of the Year” for Elder Law and Trusts and Estates.
Hon. Gail Prudenti was named “Lawyer of the Year” for Litigation – Trusts and Estates.

Nancy Burner founded the firm and has dedicated her career to helping New York families navigate Elder Law and Estate Planning. Her work encompasses asset protection, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and the many personal decisions that accompany planning for the future.

Hon. Gail Prudenti brings decades of legal and judicial experience to her work in Trusts and Estates. Before joining the firm, she served as Chief Administrative Judge of the Courts of New York State and as Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division, Second Department. She now draws on that experience through Judicious Advice, a service offering strategic counsel, case assessment, professional guidance, and mentoring to attorneys, judges, law firms, and individuals. Her broad knowledge of New York’s courts strengthens the guidance and advocacy our litigation team provides to clients facing complex estate and trust disputes.

Having two attorneys receive the highest recognition in their respective Long Island practice areas is an extraordinary honor for our firm.
