We’re proud to share that our partner, Hon. Gail Prudenti, has been named a 2025 Icon Honors recipient by Long Island Business News.

The Icon Honors celebrates seasoned business leaders over the age of 60 who have not only shaped their industries but also opened doors for others. Gail exemplifies this spirit. Over a judicial career that spanned more than two decades, she held a series of groundbreaking roles, including Chief Administrative Judge of the New York State Courts and the first woman to serve as Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division, Second Department.

Her leadership extended into academia as well, where she served as the tenth dean of Hofstra Law School. There, she led a major capital campaign, elevated academic standards, and championed diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that will benefit students for years to come.

Since joining Burner Prudenti Law in 2023, Gail has continued to share her deep knowledge and leadership in the areas of estate administration, litigation, and guardianship.
